Tim Krohn, born in the Nordrhein-Westfalen region of Germany in 1965, grew up in Glarus, a town in the Swiss Alps. He now lives as a writer in Santa Maria Val Müstair. He has written plays for the theatre and radio as well as novels. President of the Swiss Society of Authors from 1998 until 2001, Tim Krohn has won various prizes including the ›Conrad Ferdinand Meyer Prize‹.
