Tatjana Hauptmann was born in 1950 in Wiesbaden and lives in Einsiedeln. She is the author and illustrator of numerous children’s books, including ›A Day in the Life of Petronella Pig‹. For Diogenes, she has illustrated numerous books, most recently Theodor Storm's ›Little John‹. Tatjana Hauptmann’s books are published in 21 languages.
