Barbara Brenner (1925-2025) was the prize-winning author of various fiction and non-fiction books for children. Her career started in 1957 when she wrote her first children's book (Somebody's Slippers, Somebody's Shoes). Over the years she (co-)authored more than 100 children's and young adult books, on topics ranging from biology to history.
