Walter Muschg

Walter Muschg was born in 1898 in Zurich-Witikon. After completing a degree in German he became professor for German Literary History in Basel. His students, among them Max Frisch and Urs Widmer, revered him as an exceptional teacher. Walter Muschg died in Basel in 1965.
