Café Pinguin
Published by Diogenes as Café Pinguin
Original Title: Café Pinguin

In the Café Pinguin, the air smells of fresh coffee, someone is reading the newspaper, and a couple no longer quite young meet, a little awkwardly, for a rendezvous. Nothing much happens here, save for the soft music playing. Some guests love coming here, yet dream of being elsewhere all the same, lying with their love in the tall summer grass, perhaps, gazing up at the blue sky and the clouds drifting past. In these fifteen spellbinding songs and  stories, Martin Suter and Stephan Eicher carry us off into a world both melancholy and light-hearted, one that moves and enchants in equal measure.
