Daniela Krien, born in Neu-Kaliß, East Germany, in 1975, studied communication, media, and cultural studies in Leipzig. She has been a freelance writer since 2010, her debut Someday We’ll Tell Each Other Everything has been translated into 15 languages; in 2014 her short story collection Muldental has been published. She was awarded with the ›Nicolas Born Debut Prize‹. Daniela Krien lives in Leipzig with her two daughters.
