Sea Breeze

Conflict is rife between Ecopolis activists and the Köhn shipping company. One is concerned about the environment, the other about their competitive power. When the corpse of a ship owner is found at the fish market, Inspector Sebastian Fink starts investigating. The case leads him to a bitter manager in a modern glass palace high above the docks, a sport-obsessed widow in the country and a student couple in St. Pauli. Sebastian already was busy with the case – then his grandmother turns up on his doorstep one morning and confronts him with a long-hidden family secret.

The English Dancer

Hamburg, city of musicals. It's advertised everywhere and in all the newspapers: ›Tainted Love‹, the latest production from London with hits from the 80s, is coming to the Hans Albers Theatre on the Reeperbahn. But on the morning of the opening day a strange event casts a sinister shadow: one of the stage hands sees a dead body in the auditorium, hanging from beneath the dome. However, when Inspector Sebastian Fink arrives at the crime scene, there is no trace of the corpse. Was it all in her imagination? In his second case Sebastian Fink investigates behind the scenes in the world of musicals. It's all about vanity, cliquism and money. A great deal of money. Dancers and musicians, choreographers and managers – everyone is under pressure. Everyone is watching everyone else. But no-one will admit to seeing how one of their company came to die.

Secret Rulers

Sebastian Fink has a brand new case and a brand new love, a DJ named Marissa.

Sebastian is planning a trip to Italy with DJ Marissa, his new girlfriend. But sun, sea and sand will have to wait, because a series of murders is terrifying the people of Hamburg. The victims have nothing in common – except for their marked interest in refugees.

After numerous false leads, Sebastian Fink finally arrives at a place of horror that no one talks about although everybody knows it.

A highly contemporary novel about prostitution and traffic in women.
